The typical methods of driving traffic to a website still apply but with a blog there’s a certain set of elements to a blog that make it even more possible for you to get increased traffic. Now the first thing I want you to focus on is to rely on repeat traffic. Repeat traffic simply means people who have visited before. They keep coming back.
One of the ways they’re going to keep coming back is by making it very obvious and it making it very beneficial for your readers to subscribe to your RSS feed. RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication and this is kind of like a radio beacon that lets people know that you have new content. So when you post something new to your blog the RSS feed will automatically ping out to whatever, what’s called a feed reader someone is using, and let them know that there’s a new article in place.

This is an excellent question because a lot of people know that they should be writing articles but they’re not quite sure how to do it or if they do them quite well they’re not getting the traffic that they should be. This is obviously a personal question to my business. Your traffic methods may be different depending on what your business is but what I’ve found in the four years I’ve been in business and using the internet to promote my business there are three types for sure that I really benefit from and all of them are endorsed traffic. Not traffic that I generate necessarily all on my own.
